Who We Are
Wessex Wishes are a Team of Volunteers who care passionately about the welfare and happiness of local schoolchildren. Between us we have over 100 years of experience working with children and other charitable organisations
We are all volunteers. No salaries. No expenses.
Our Mission
We believe that every child deserves moments of joy and laughter, and are committed to brightening the lives of those local children facing challenging or difficult circumstances.
We pledge that 100% of money raised through fundraising will go to the children we support.
Our Focus
We work closely with local schools to organise exciting days out, parties during Christmas and Easter and other fun events for children living through difficult times.
Often something quite small can make a huge difference to a child's life so we also provide little treats like an Easter egg or a cuddly toy as well as more practical help such as cosy handknitted sweaters and warm waterproof coats.
Our aim is to bring joy, fun, comfort and memorable experiences to these children, creating moments of pure delight and happiness that they will cherish forever.
